Bye Bye Under Eye – Still My Favorite Concealer

In May of 2015, I received a free tube of the Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer from it Cosmetics. I tried it and wrote about it here. I just ran out of this amazing product. Yes, it lasted this long even though I use it almost every day.

This product was developed with leading plastic surgeons using anti-aging ingredients including hydrolyzed collagen, and vitamins C & K.

I hardly ever wear foundation anymore. I simply add a few dabs of Bye Bye Under Eye wherever necessary. My face looks glowy and natural. Less is definitely more for my age.

I absolutely love this concealer. I have tried many different concealers in my life. Absolutely NOTHING compares to Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer! In case you aren’t familiar with this product, you should give it a try. Here’s why:

  • Coverage is excellent
  • Very moisturizing
  • Creamy… a little goes a long way
  • Waterproof
  • Comes in a big tube
  • Doesn’t sink into wrinkles

I use the color Neutral Medium. Since I’m so happy with this product, I really want to try it Cosmetic’s CC+ Cream. Has anyone tried this product? I’d love to hear what you think.

I was not compensated in any form to say any of this. I just love this product so much and wanted to share it with you.

Cerave CeraVe

Cerave The need for a simple yet effective beauty routine happened for me after my divorce five years ago. Like most single moms, I had a lot to juggle. Kids, work, dog, house, errands, life… Mornings, especially, were busy and hectic.

When you’re mom, the most important part of your daily routine is taking care of everyone else – and that doesn’t leave a lot of time to take care of your own needs. However, back then I realized that now more than ever I had to take care of myself because if I didn’t, everything else would suffer, including the people who I was trying to take care of.CeraVe During this hectic time in my life I created an easy and effective skin care regimen that only takes minutes out of my day. This simple routine ensures that my skin looks and feels its best, regardless of any stresses I have to endure and the work I have to do each day.

For a successful morning skin care routine you need just that: a routine.CeraVe A consistent morning routine should include:

Cleansing, moisturizing and protecting with SPF.  Twice a week I also add exfoliation to my routine to remove buildup and old skin. Although I always  wake up early and I have had days where I needed to leave for work at 6 a.m., I never skip my skin care.

1. Cleansing: The goal of cleansing is to remove dirt, germs, excess oils, dead cells, make up  without irritating the skin or drawing away needed moisture. Many of us think if we don’t wear make up our face is clean enough. However, cleansing in both mornings and evenings is necessary. Skipping cleansing is like not brushing your teeth. Yuck!CeraVe I usually shower at night so my skin care in the morning happens at the sink. I like to use a mild cleanser such as the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser or CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser. Both cleansers remove dirt, oil and makeup as ceramides and hyaluronic acid moisturize, soften, and help repair the skin barrier. You see, skin naturally contains ceramides. Over time, ceramides become depleted, leading to dry and irritated skin. CeraVe helps replenish the vital ceramides healthy skin needs.Cerave Only CeraVe delivers ceramides through a patented, controlled-release technology that penetrates the skin’s surface, to help rebuild the skin’s protective barrier and lock in moisture all day.

Moisturizing: Even if you happen to have oily skin, moisturizing is an essential step you just can’t skip. I choose a moisturizer that will leave my skin feeling fresh and supple, not heavy or oily. CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion AM with SPF 30 applies easily. It is quickly absorbed by the skin and protects my face from sun damage, while never feeling thick or greasy. It works well under makeup and makes me feel good to know my skin is protected from the sun.CeraVe I moisturize my entire body with CeraVe Moisturizing Cream. It’s a thick cream but absorbs really fast.  This cream is especially great on heels and elbows. It also use it as a night-time facial moisturizer. I like that CeraVe products are non-irritating and fragrance-free. Most are also non-comedogenic.Cerave Protection: Sunscreen with zinc oxide is the best part of a successful beauty routine and is the most effective product you can use for anti-aging. No matter what wrinkle cream you are using, if you aren’t using a great sun protection, you’re left with a skin negative.

For the times when I need a high SPF, I use CeraVe Sunscreen with SPF 50. It’s lightweight, water-resistant and applies smoothly without the sticky feeling. Hat, sunscreen and sunglasses are my essentials for when I am mowing the lawn and doing yard work.Cerave Good skin care doesn’t have to be a complex process. I know a lady who uses 16 different skin care products each morning. 16! Wow! Who has time and money for all this? I think it’s more important that you implement a daily routine you know you can uphold. Incorporating a cleanser and moisturizer is a great place to start.CeraVe Finally, take inventory of all the products you have. Get rid of the ones you rarely use or are expired. Switching products constantly will just lead to more disappointment and overspending. Give yourself time to do it right. Before you shop, do the research on products that will work for your skin.ceraveWalmart has a large selection of CeraVe products, and until 5/9/2016, the following three items will be on Rollback and retail at $9.97. (Don’t forget your $2 off coupon).

  • CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser
  • CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser
  • CeraVe Moisturizing Cream

Cerave I don’t spend a lot of money or time on my skin care, but I am consistent when it comes to my routine.

What is your skin care routine? I’d love to hear from you.
