Products I’ve Been Lovin’

Products I've been Lovin'

Today I want to share with you a few amazing products I’ve discovered recently. These are the things I’ve been using on a day to day.

1. Hyperbiotics Activated Charcoal Probiotic Toothpaste

This toothpaste is as awesome as the rest of the Hyperbiotics products. This is a great all-natural toothpaste.  It’s completely different from any toothpaste I have ever used. It doesn’t foam like your regular toothpaste. That is because this toothpaste doesn’t contain any artificial chemicals, detergents and foaming agents.  It leaves my teeth feeling really clean and it smells and tastes minty. My teeth feel as if they’ve been polished after brushing. This is a great toothpaste for those wanting to avoid the chemicals and fluoride  which are common in more commercial products.

2. Rahda Rosehip Oil

Without doubt, I love this oil. Some people are afraid of putting oil on their faces. However, face oils can curb dryness and help with extreme oiliness and breakouts. Face oils have intense antioxidants to deeply nourish every skin cell, leaving nothing behind but the appearance of a seriously smoother, younger-looking you. This oil is a head-to-toe multitasker. Sometimes I dab a bit of Rosehip oil around my eyes, sometimes I mix it with my body lotion; sometimes I touch a bit to the ends of my hair to fix flyaways. It never fails me. I use this oil every day as part of my beauty regimen. My almost 48-year-old skin loves this oil.  It leaves my skin moisturized and healthy looking.

3. NextRelief Recovery Cream with Arnica, Aloe & Tea Tree Oil

Next relief

Once in a while I have aching muscles and sore joints. Our last road trip to Chicago, for example,  left me with aching , tight shoulders. This cream gives me relief after just minutes. It doesn’t have that greasy feeling and dries quickly so it won’t stain your clothing. NextRelief has ingredients such as  Arnica, Aloe, Tea Tree Oil, Vitamin B6, MSM, Vitamin E, and more.  Made in the USA.

4. Udderly Smooth Hand Creme

Udderly Smooth

I came across Udderly Smooth at the Dollar Tree store.  I figured what do I have to lose; it’s  $1. To my surprise this is the best hand creme I’ve ever used. This creme has virtually erased my rough, dry hands. I carry a tube in my purse so it’s always available. This hand cream is soft and not greasy. It blends into my skin so well and makes my hands feel good.  I’ve tried many hand creams that claim to soothe dry, chapped hands but this product works better than all of them. Unfortunately, my dollar store no longer carries the creme.

If you’re already using any of the above products, let me know how you like them. Have a safe, happy and healthy week!

hyperbiotics® – Health begins in the gut

**I received free products in order to facilitate this review. All opinions are mine.**

hyperbiotics

Nature Made

Living a healthy and active life is very important to me. It’s a lifestyle, for sure.  A routine… like brushing my teeth. This lifestyle gives me energy, good mood, and a positive outlook on life. Part of my healthy routine is working out, eating healthy (80% of the time) and taking supplements. I don’t overdo it with supplements. After all, your nutrients should come from “real” food.  One particular supplement I’ve taken for years – probiotics. Here’s why.

hyperbiotics

Did you know that everything from your energy levels, weight, mood, digestion, skin health, gums, teeth , joints, brain and heart health depends on the good flora within your gut environment? Yes, it’s a fact. Almost all of our bodily systems rely on a healthy balance of good bacteria to function at their best.

Unfortunately, highly processed and sugary foods, the overuse of antibiotics, and toxins in the environment, threaten the friendly flora intended to keep us well.

By taking an effective probiotic supplement, we can replenish the good bacteria and give our body the support it needs.

But not all probiotics are made the same.

Hyperbiotics ® formulas are 15x more effective than standard capsules. This means that hyperbiotics formulas deliver 15 times more beneficial bacteria deep within your digestive tract than others. They also offer superior shelf-life stability for 18 months with zero refrigeration. Hyperbiotics PRO-15 strains are lactobacilli and bifidobacteria.

Hyperbiotics ®  formulas are lactose free, gluten free, sugar free, and non-GMO.

Hyperbiotics® formulas include:

PRO-15®

PRO – Dental®

PRO-Kids®

PRO-Moms®

PRO- Women®

hyperbiotics

and even PRO – Pets®.

Dry Brushing – You’ll Love The Benefits

dry brushingDry brushing is a beauty/health technique that has been around for centuries. It originated in Finland and later spread all across Europe.

Growing up in Germany, my mom was a huge fan of dry brushing, cold showers, and saunas. Early on she taught me about the many benefits of dry body brushing, and during my younger years, dry brushing was part of my daily routine.

Not sure what happened (I guess life got in the way) but once I had kids, dry brushing was replaced by a million other things.  It wasn’t until recently that I started this routine again. And I love it. Why did I ever stop!

Dry brushing offers so many benefits – there’s no reason not to do it. It’s quick, inexpensive and so good for you. All you need is a brush.dry brushing

You can get all this from a small brush.

                                    How To Dry Brush

Always start with your feet. Move upwards to the legs, thighs, stomach, hands, arms and shoulders before arriving at the heart.

Arms: Brush from the right hand back to the shoulder, then the inside to the armpit, then switch arms.

Abdominal, chest, back and butt, brush circular clockwise.

Those who want can also massage cheeks, chin, nose and forehead gently with a special face brush in a circular motion.dry brushing

                                            More tips….

Brush using long strokes and avoid random and back-and-forth strokes.

After dry brushing, take a shower to wash off the dead skin.

After showering, moisturize your body with natural oil such as coconut oil, olive oil or almond oil.

Best time to dry brush is before your morning shower. Dry brushing invigorates and gets your blood circulation going. It wakes you up and gives you more energy for the day ahead.

All you need is a brush and 5 minutes of your time. Your body and mind will thank you.
