A few years back I started making my own facial scrub with lemons and sugar. I loved it – my skin always felt so fresh and smooth after each use. But lately my skin has been dry and flaky and since I love facial scrubs I didn’t want to give them up completely. I replaced the lemons with coconut oil and added a few drops of tea tree oil. Coconut oil has so many health benefits. (more info here)To make my face scrub I used Apothecary Extracts 100% pure Australian Tea Tree Oil. Tea Tree Oil is pure oil harvested from the leaves of a tree native to Australia. The oil was traditionally used by aborigines as a topical agent for the skin. I received a free sample from Apothecary Extracts and couldn’t wait to use such a high-end product on my face. Many essential oils are diluted to cut costs. Apothecary Extracts says “they have the tests to prove their Tea Tree Oil is pure and potent.”Apothecary Extracts Tea Tree Oil is a 4 oz value pack and every purchase comes with a FREE eBook 50+ Uses for Tea Tree Oil.
