Cozy Up With DIY Sweater Pillows

Sweater pillows not only add warmth and texture to your room, they also make it cozy and inviting.

They are easy to make and cost next to nothing. If you can sew a straight line, you can make these in no time. There are hundreds of tutorials on the internet so I won’t bore you with mine.

I found a 99 cent sweater at Goodwill and a bath mat at the Dollar Store. The bath mat adds great texture to your couch or bed. It’s crazy but stores sell sweater pillows for around $70.

I didn’t have a small pillow for the bath mat so I stuffed it with leftover stuffing. Since I wanted to get two sweater pillows from one sweater I used some leftover off-white fabric for the back and created an envelope style pillow case.

Don’t throw away the sleeves. I made two pretty sweater candles which are perfect for fall and winter.

I hope I inspired you to cozy up with sweater pillows and candles this upcoming holiday season. Let the hunt for old sweaters begin!
