HoseHolderMainI was fed up with my hose situation in the front of the house when I came across this great solution by Shanty 2 Chic. One of the girls made this cute hose holder and I really wanted one. The project seemed fairly simple and inexpensive, but I decided not to spend any money at all. Instead I used old wood and left overs from previous projects. Here’s what I did.

I started with a piece of scrap wood from an old fence.hose9I cut and sanded the wood.hose7Next, I cut three more pieces of wood. Everything was from my scrap pile.hose5I was out of long screws so I used nails to attach the pieces to the pole.hose3I needed something that would hold the hose in place. This old shelf bracket was perfect. hose15I used tiny screws to attach the shelf bracket to the pole. I spray painted everything black.hose13To keep the hose from sliding off the shelf bracket, I screwed in a machine screw.hose14I dug a hole, and my hose holder was ready.

This was a quick and easy project and I am glad I was able to make this by using everything I already had.
