My daughters and I love to roam the Dollar Store. We can always find little knick-knacks and turn them into something useful or pretty.

The girls also love music festivals.  The Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) is coming up this weekend in Las Vegas. EDC Las Vegas is the biggest electronic music festival in the world. More than 400,000 people (Wow!) from all over the world are expected to attend. Famous DJs like Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, etc. are just some of the headliners.

Crazy outfits are synonymous with music festivals as are daisy headbands. Daisy headbands can cost as much as $130 on Etsy but they are easy to make and materials can be purchased at the Dollar Store.

Here is what my girls whipped up.

What you’ll need:

  • Daisy flowers
  • Elastic band
  • Ribbon
  • Glue gun

Directions according to my daughters:

1. Remove flowers from stem.

2. Glue them onto the ribbon.

3. Tie the elastic band to the ends of the ribbon or saw the elastic to the ribbon.

4. You can now tie the headband to your head.
