DIY Minecraft Wall Art

For about a year now, my son, Danny, has been OBSESSED with Minecraft. The other day, he was asking for some Minecraft accessories he could hang up in his room. Well, Minecraft fans know that anything with a Minecraft logo on it is not going to be cheap. I was searching the internet for some ideas when I came across this amazing blog that offers a tutorial on how to create a pixel guy using toilet paper rolls. That’s when my idea was born. I had some toilet paper rolls, green and black acrylic paint, and my glue gun. Of course, Minecraft fans know where this is going. Yes… Creeper Wall Art! For non-Minecrafters, Creepers are bad, very bad. They creep (obviously).

Here’s what I made for Danny.

Needless to say, you can make it as big as you want it. So start saving those toilet paper rolls.
