If you are familiar with my recent American Flag post and my Ocean on Wood post, you know how much I love working with wood. It just so happens, I still have plenty of old fence wood left so I decided to make another wall piece, which will go in my daughter’s first college apartment.
First, I cut a piece of plywood I had sitting in my garage. This serves as a canvas for the wood pieces. Next, I cut a bunch of pieces of fence wood. I didn’t measure anything, just cut random sizes. I gathered leftover latex paint and some acrylic paint. I used my sander to get rid of any poky things. To attach the pieces, I used liquid nails.
I love this piece of artwork and will be trying it to spruce up my room! I would love if you would share it on my meet up Monday blog party. https://jennymaire.blogspot.com/
