Get Glowing For Your Next Photo Shoot

This weekend, both my girls are coming home from college. It’s the first time all my kids are going to be together in the same place since Christmas. I can’t wait to see them!

Since it’s so hard to get everyone together in the same place at the same time we’ve decided to take a family photo this weekend. We know we want to wear something white and since the weather forecast calls for 75 degrees and sunny, we’ll be taking the photo outside.

Before we take the photos I wanted to add a bit of glow to my pale winter skin.

Walmart has a nice selection of JERGENS® Natural Glow® products so I decided to give JERGENS Natural Glow Instant Sun Sunless Tanning Mousse a try. I have to say, I’m very happy with the results. Let me show you the steps I took to achieve this glow.

1. Shave

We all hate it but it needs to get done. Do it!

2. Exfoliate

Exfoliate the areas you’ll be tanning to remove any dead skin to allow better application and absorption. I used organic sugar; it’s more course and a little thicker. It does a great job of removing unwanted skin.

3. Apply JERGENS® Natural Glow® Instant Sun® Sunless Tanning Mousse

Use enough tanner to cover a whole area of your body at once (such as your entire arm) using long, smooth, downward strokes for even coverage. This airy mousse dries in just 60 seconds. For a more intense, darker color wait at least 5 minutes before you apply the second coat.

You can use a tanning mitt to avoid staining  but I prefer to use my hands. Just make sure to wash your hands thoroughly.

Do not shower for 4-8 hours after application of Instant Sun. Allow the sunless tanner to deeply penetrate and build color. If possible try to avoid wetting your skin for a full 8 hours.

You can also maintain your tan on your off days with JERGENS® Natural Glow® +FIRMING Daily Moisturizer. This will help extend your color while giving your skin an extra firming boost. We can all use some of that, right?

Now that my skin is glowing, I still have a few days to work on my hair.
