On May 8, 2015, my oldest daughter, Melody, graduated from Vanderbilt University. It was a bittersweet day for all of us. In August, she’ll turn 21 and start Loyola Law School in Chicago. My baby is all grown up now!
While I loved having her here in Nashville, I am certain she’ll be happy living in the Windy City.
We are all incredibly proud of her and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her.

After a 3 hour graduation ceremony and nearly 1,500 names read (in 85 degree heat), it was time to get silly and eat….

May 11, 2015Congratulations to both of you! You must be so proud! Law school, wow, that is great, good luck to your daughter. You did a good job of bringing her up obviously!! You should give yourself a pat on the back too. I’m sure it hasn’t been easy.
