A few years back I started making my own facial scrub with lemons and sugar. I loved it – my skin always felt so fresh and smooth after each use. But lately my skin has been dry and flaky and since I love facial scrubs I didn’t want to give them up completely. I replaced the lemons with coconut oil and added a few drops of tea tree oil. Coconut oil has so many health benefits. (more info here)
To make my face scrub I used Apothecary Extracts 100% pure Australian Tea Tree Oil. This oil is pure, harvested from the leaves of a tree native to Australia. The oil was traditionally used by aborigines as a topical agent for the skin. I received a free sample from Apothecary Extracts and couldn’t wait to use such a high-end product on my face. Many essential oils are diluted to cut costs. Apothecary Extracts says “they have the tests to prove their oil is pure and potent.”
Massage into your face. Rinse and pat dry. The oil will absorb immediately and your skin will be soft and smell amazingly.
I love this new face scrub with just three natural ingredients. It's cleanser, scrub and moisturizer all in one.
Here are more suggested uses for tea tree oil:
Acne, Toenail Fungus, Lice, Yeast Infections, Skin Tags, Cold Sores, Dandruff, Ringworm, Fleas, Warts, Psoriasis, and More.
You can use this oil to make your own shampoo, lotion, soap, face cleaner, body wash, and toothpaste. Stop polluting your home and make all natural household cleaners, detergents, shower sprays, bathroom disinfectants, and kitchen spray.
