Not only could I not find anything, I also hated doing laundry in there. In August, I got ambitious and turned this huge mess into an organized wall storage. You can read about it here. I also took the floor from yuck to clean. Here are all the details.
I organized my yard tools, scrap wood, power tools, and ladders.
My laundry area became spacious and organized.
A week ago, I finished building these garage shelves to store all my bins.
I used 2 x 4’s and “NO pre-drilling” screws. They saved me so much time. I love them!
The idea for my shelves came from Ana White’s tutorial. However, I modified the length and height of the shelves.
I love how clean and organized everything is. I can even pull in the car, which I plan on doing during freezing temperatures.
Garage storage doesn’t have to be complex or cost a lot. As long as it’s sturdy and functional you’re good to go. It’s a great feeling to walk into an organized and clutter-free garage.
