Two thousand fifteen was a busy year for me. I tackled several projects around the house including painting the exterior, trimming trees, and updating light fixtures. Needless to say, all my projects were challenging (physically and mentally) , but nothing I did compared to the exhaustion I experienced when I refinished the hardwood floors. From moving the furniture to sanding to cleaning to applying poly to moving back basically the entire house… I get exhausted just typing all this. There was blood, tears, and sweat…. and lots and lots of dust.
Anyways, it’s done and I love the end result. The project was also a great learning experience, and by doing it myself, I saved lots of $$$$. If you care to read about my experience, click here.
I already have several projects planned for 2016 and I get giddy just thinking about them. How much gets done will depend on my budget in the new year.
