Simple Fall Decor

It’s easy to go overboard with decorating, especially for seasons and holidays. Personally, I like to take the simple, subtle approach – Just enough to serve as a sweet reminder that seasons change and that we’re going to embrace the things that come our way.

I like the idea of simple fall decor so that the attention is still on the home itself. Rather than going all out, I prefer to incorporate touches throughout my home.

Typically I use a lot of natural elements. First I start by going outside and getting what I can for free. I look for branches, greenery, old wood and acorns in my backyard and bring them inside to start incorporating in my decor. The nature and texture of these items really warm up the rooms.
