Texas de Brazil, Nashville

Last week, my family received an invitation to dine at Texas de Brazil in Nashville.  Two words:  TOP NOTCH! This wasn’t “just” dinner… this was a dining experience. We marveled at the excellence of the food and were blown away by the incredible service we received. From the hostess, to the waiter, to the meat servers, to the manager; everyone working there was top notch.

Texas de Brazil is upscale yet laid back. The restaurant offers a salad bar with all kinds of options such as sushi, cheeses, veggies, soups (lobster bisque), Brazilian specialties, etc.

The servers (Gauchos) go around with meat on skewers cutting meat off as you grab it with your tongs. Think of the best steak ever and then think of an unlimited supply of it. All you can eat steak.  The servers brought filet mignon, flank steak, rib eye steak, ribs, chicken, lamb, sausage and more. Each table also gets garlic mashed potatoes, sweet bananas as palate cleanser, and Brazilian cheese bread. My advice: GO HUNGRY!

Each guest receives a green and a red card. Flipping your card to green means you’re ready for more meat. Red means you’re still munching on a piece of meat.

A couple of times, I forgot to flip to red and two Gauchos appeared instantly. The servers are very attentive and super friendly.

The atmosphere at Texas de Brazil was awesome. This is a great spot for date nights as well as family/friends dinners.

Dessert didn’t disappoint, either. We agreed, the winner was the Brazilian cheesecake. We also tried the coconut pie and chocolate cake.

We had a wonderful time at Texas de Brazil and would definitely recommend this place.
