Two blocks down the street from us lays an entertainment complex called Trinity Music City, formerly Twitty City. Twitty City was the home of country singer Conway Twitty until his death in 1993. It was famous for its lavish Christmas decorations, and it includes a mansion and memorial gardens which he built at a cost of over $3.5 million. Since his death, it has been converted into a Christian music venue owned by Trinity Broadcasting Network. This is our second Christmas in Hendersonville, TN, and each time I visit this place, it just takes my breath away. There are more than one million lights strung across nearly 30 acres. There is also a cute gift shop, a bistro, a recording studio, and a virtual reality theater.
On Saturday, the kids and I bundled up and visited the exquisitely decorated gardens, pathways, and mansion while listening to Christmas music in the background. What a beautiful place for sure.
