The holiday season is all about love and tradition. One of our favorite holiday traditions is to bake lots and lots of cookies, cakes and pies. The kids and I go nuts baking together. We blast Christmas songs, dance around the kitchen wearing pajama pants and waving spatulas in the air. Each baking extravaganza ends in a huge mess, full tummies, and happy hearts. No matter the circumstances in our lives – divorce, out-of-state move, tight budget – we bake during each holiday season.
The kids love it, no matter their age. I hope that someday they’ll continue this tradition with their children. Each year, we like to add a new recipe to our collection and this year it’s a yummy Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Whipped Cream filled cupcake recipe.I picked up all the necessary ingredients and milk and Walmart.
We prefer whipped cream over heavy, sugary frosting. To make Funfetti® Whipped Cream for 12 cupcakes, combine 1 cup whipping cream (beat for 2 minutes) with 1/2 cup Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Holiday Cake Mix, and 1 tsp vanilla. Beat until the cream is whipped.
Cut off the top part of the cupcake and dip it in melted chocolate. Pipe Funfetti® Whipped Cream on the bottom piece. Sprinkle with crushed M&M’s® White Peppermint, M&M’s® Holiday Milk Chocolate, and M&M’s® Holiday Peanut.
