filled cupcakesfilled cupcakesThe holiday season is all about love and tradition. One of our favorite holiday traditions is to bake lots and lots of cookies, cakes and pies. The kids and I go nuts baking together. We blast Christmas songs, dance around the kitchen wearing pajama pants and waving spatulas in the air. Each baking extravaganza ends in a huge mess, full tummies, and happy hearts. No matter the circumstances in our lives – divorce, out-of-state move, tight budget – we bake during each holiday season.

I hope that someday they’ll continue this tradition with their children.winter bakingfilled cupcakesEach year, we like to add a new recipe to our collection and this year it’s a yummy Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Whipped Cream filled cupcake recipe.mars store collageI picked up all the necessary ingredients and milk and Walmart.

Luckily my children have always had plenty of food and milk in the fridge, but did you know that 46.5 million American rely on Feeding America food banks each year? And one of the most requested food items is milk. But most people don’t think to donate milk because it’s perishable. Which means that hungry children and families are missing out on the essential nutrients supplied by milk.

Here’s how we can help. For a small donation, the Great American Milk Drive will deliver a gallon of milk to a family in need in YOUR local community. Or you can purchase two bags of M&M’s® at Walmart (9.4 oz bags or larger) and up to a gallon of milk will be donated to the drive.

Right now you can also save a little on your holiday baking with this coupon.
